Born and raised on the streets of Los Angeles, Skill's journey in graffiti began at the age of 12. Sketching intricate characters since the age of 7, he unknowingly laid the foundation for his pioneering path in graffiti. Despite facing challenges, Skill's determination molded his art, transforming adversity into inspiration, and establishing himself not only as an artist but as a force in the graffiti scene.

Widely recognized as a "Style-master" and one of the most influential figures in LA, Skill played a crucial role as the mastermind behind the UTI crew, a significant force in the city's graffiti culture. His impact extends beyond private collections, with his work showcased in prestigious institutions like the Getty and the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Museum. Skill has become an urban icon, acknowledged for his artistic contributions by this generation.

Skill's journey saw significant milestones, including his introduction to New York style graffiti in 1984 at the age of 14 and the establishment of UTI CREW in 1986 alongside Snap. Their dominance expanded from tagging to full productions, street bombing, and freeway bombing, asserting their reign over territories like the 5, 118, 101, and 710 freeways in 1989 and 1990.

Throughout the years, Skill's artistic journey took him beyond borders as he traveled and painted in cities across the globe collaborating in various projects and programs alongside many well known graffiti writers. Today, he continues to leave an imprint in graffiti history by hosting the Los Angeles based Classic Burners podcast show.
